Talk to me and I may forget…

Show me something and I may not remember…

But tell me a story – and it will live for ever.

Sioux Native American saying

May is surely one of the loveliest months of the year here. The swallows have returned from Africa and  the gorse and broom cover the hills with a blanket of sweet-smelling yellow blooms.

If you are lucky enough to be near our spectacular West Coast, you will also find great swathes of rhododendrons festooning the hillsides, adding colour to the already glorious panorama of sea lochs and mountains.
